Overview of the Ordering Process

Before you begin, you must be logged in as a registered user. Registration involves assigning yourself a Username and Password. It takes just a few minutes.

Ordering designs and supplies at GreatNotions.com is fast, safe and convenient:

Search through the thousands of designs and products to find what you need.

Add items you want to purchase to your shopping cart by clicking on the Add To Cart button.

Click the Continue Shopping button on the shopping cart page to add more items to your cart.

When you are finished shopping click Pay with Credit Card to finalize your purchase.

If you are a new customer then Create a new user account

If you are a returning customer then Enter your credentials to log in.

Enter your billing information and continue to checkout

Click Submit Order and print a copy of your order receipt for your records.

Click Download to go to download page and get your designs.

Next to each design listed, there are are green circles to indicate if the particular format is available for this design or not. Select the format you want for a design by clicking on the format link next to the design or by clicking the format button at the bottom of the grid to download all designs in that format.

After you click the format button you will be asked the type of delivery method you prefer. You can either get the designs by email or download them straight to your computer.

Did you know?
GreatNotions.com keeps a history of your purchases and receipts so that you can re-download your designs in any of the available formats without being charged again! The designs can be downloaded as long as they are still available from the supplier. This is a great feature, in case you ever lose a design or get disconnected from the Internet before receiving your design. Just click on Order History on the My Account page.

Finding Embroidery Designs

Searching for just the right embroidery design is fast and easy. There are several ways to search and browse through the thousands of designs on GreatNotions.com. You will always find the Search and Browse links on the left panel of your screen:

Quick Search by selecting search option from the drop down menu, enter a keyword in the blank field of the search box and click "Go".

Browse - If you wish to simply browse or page through the collections of designs, use one of the links from the left panel. There, you can access the library of designs and products by clicking on one of the buttons:

Embroidery Designs - Will list all the different links for browsing designs. You can browse the designs by categories, by top selling designs or by newly listed designs. You can also browse through our list of free designs.

Embroidery Packs - Will list all the different links for browsing design packs. You can browse the design packs by categories, be vendors, by top selling packs, by newly listed packs. You can also create a custom pack of designs from the selected vendors. We also have design packs on CDs.

Fonts and Alphabets - Will list all of the GreatNotions.com's font and Alphabet collection. Similar to embroidery designs, you can also browse fonts in different ways. We also have a huge collection of Font packs.

Do I have to register to shop on GreatNotions.com?
You do not have to be registered to browse through the designs and products. To make a purchase though, you will need to register. There are a number of benefits to becoming a registered user including faster checkouts, having the ability to check status of past orders and being able to resume an order that you can´t finish in one sitting.

Can I leave items in my Shopping Cart?
Yes. If you wish to log out before you finish shopping, your Cart will hold the items you´ve selected. The next time you log into GreatNotions.com, the items will be there and you can continue shopping or Check Out.

What if I don´t receive a confirmation of my order?
You should receive a confirmation of your order at the e-mail address you provide when ordering within an hour of your order. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, please email us at sales@GreatNotions.com. Of course this does not apply to designs, which are immediately downloaded to your PC.

How can I check on the status of my order?
To check on the status of an order, call us at 1-800-528-8305

How do I cancel an order?
Just email sales@GreatNotions.com with your order number, or as much order information as possible. We´ll cancel the order right away if it has not already shipped.

How is sales tax calculated?
Our suppliers are located all over North America so tax is calculated based on the locations from and to which the order is being shipped.
